Blade Type

Marathon M42

This bimetal band saw blade provides the highest possible efficiency in large production operations. The tooth tips, made of HSS M42 with a high cobalt and molybdenum content, combined with a positive rake angle and variable tooth pitch, result in the highest possible machining performance and long blade life. The basis is formed by backing material with 4% chrome.

Use Marathon M42 for:

  • Layer and bundle cuts
  • Large-dimensioned work pieces
  • Large profiles and solid materials
  • Steels up to 45 HRC
  • Non-ferrous metals

Vario M42

The wear-resistant tips made of HSS-M42 paired with a variable tooth pitch are especially suitable for vibration- susceptible sawing applications with multiple cuts. The basis of these blades is formed by backing material with a chrome content of 4%.

Use Vario M42 for:

  • Profile and bundle cutting
  • Multiple cuts
  • Small and medium work piece dimensions
  • All steels up to 45 HRC

Diamant

This carbon steel band saw blade has a tempered backing of high-alloy tool steel, resulting in a long service life. The wear resistance of the tempered tips is improved by the tungsten-silicon-chrome alloy.

Use Diamant for:

  • Alloyed-treated steels
  • Steels of medium strength
  • General purpose sawing
